Those against legalized abortion readily acknowledge that the unborn is a human life. No surprise. 
However, those in favor of legalized abortion also acknowledge that the unborn is a human life.

(Dr Haskell's answer to why they don't just allow the baby to be born normally and give him/her medical assistance - mostly partial birth abortions are aborting viable babies so Dr Tiller lied in his film that he doesn't abort viable fetuses)


OK. So everyone agrees that the unborn is human life from the moment of fertilization. So what's the deal? Well, those in favor of legalized abortion believe that even though the unborn is a human life, it nevertheless is the right of the mother to terminate the life of her baby. Dr Tiller said "until the baby is born, the mother is the patient, not the baby." (1999 interview with Dr George Tiller of KS who specialized in late term abortions)

It is interesting how people today value their dogs more than their babies.  If someone murders a dog, he gets in trouble but a mother can have an abortionist terminate her unborn baby with the blessings of society.

It's also interesting that people agonize about harsh interrogation of terrorists and yet seemingly don't seem to care much about the mass murder of unborn babies.  Terrorists who are threatening our very lives, seem to be worth more than unborn babies to many people.
